Wellington Common Skin Lesions and Dermatoscopy Course

Conducted by Honorary Associate Professor Amanda Oakley, this one-day course will address clinical and dermatoscopic diagnosis of common benign and malignant skin lesions, particularly pigmented lesions.
All health professionals who undertake skin examinations are invited to attend, whether new to or experienced in dermatoscopy.
The course will be highly interactive. The course material is based on the chaos and clues, modified pattern recognition method.
The course is hosted by MelNet with support from the Health Promotion Agency.
MelNet is offering a subsidised fee for registrars who officially are on a training programme.
The course has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 6.5 credits CME for the General Practice Educational Programme (GPEP) and Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS) purposes.
