Norway: National UV and Skin Cancer Strategy

The Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA) has, on assignment from the Ministry of Health and Care Services, prepared and established a National UV and Skin Cancer Strategy. The final strategy is endorsed by the Government. It contains several measures to reduce the incidence and mortality of skin cancer, as well as to increase knowledge and awareness of skin cancer and skin cancer prevention. The strategy includes prevention for all types of skin cancer and applies for a five-year period from 2019 to 2023.
